Ever wondered what it’s like to step into your future career?Shelby and Hart students explored public safety and healthcare careers through our Students in the Workplace program. They visited First Responders (Mason-Oceana 911, Life EMS Ambulance, Pentwater/Hart Area Fire Department, and Hart Police Department), toured Trinity Lakeshore Hospital, and stopped by Ivy Rehab to learn about rehabilitative care.
Students in the Workplace (SITWP) gives students a chance to step into real workplaces and learn directly from professionals. This firsthand exposure helps them build confidence and start seeing themselves in these roles.
